Lusk Clinic aims to reduce the emotional distance between medical care providers and patients by providing accessible, affordable medical care in a nurturing environment. Our close relationships with our patients and their families are unparalleled in the industry. We believe it is intrinsic for doctors to know about all aspects of their patient’s life…to understand them as whole beings rather than as a sum of parts. visit the website http://www.conversehospital.com/locations/lusk-regional-clinic/ to learn more.
The services here are exclusively for Lusk residents who have been in the Lusk community for at least 30 days. We do not provide walk-in service, and appointments are required during most hours of operation. CCTV surveillance is employed in all patient areas, as well as on the grounds outside the building.
When you visit Lusk Clinic, you will notice that all staff wear identification tags and that we do not require you to display your own ID in any way. In the event of an emergency, please notify any staff member or call our main number. To schedule an appointment or to see a provider: ask at the front desk for assistance. When you arrive at the clinic, the staff will escort you to your waiting room. The waiting room is part of our patient facility and is monitored by CCTV.
The waiting room offers a safe environment for you to socialize, play board games or relax with a favorite book. A television is available for those who would like to watch a film or program on demand. Our patient entrance is monitored by CCTV cameras, and visitors are required to sign in upon arrival, then be escorted by staff to the waiting area or their appointment room.
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment. You will be escorted to your appointment room by a staff member, who will assist you with any personal items such as cameras, purses, and bags. Patients are allowed up to two cameras and up to ten bags at any time. Our providers appreciate it when patients bring their own cameras, but they may not be used during your appointment without prior approval from the provider.
Patients are required to discuss all health-related issues with the providers who treat them before the review of their medical records can take place. We believe in patient education so that our patients can make informed decisions about their healthcare needs and treatment options. We treat our patients as partners in their health decision-making. Please feel free to ask any staff member or your provider for assistance.
